RateBeer, which owns 5.2% of total real estate for beer-related search results, is a popular resource in the country for consumer ratings of beer brands and retailers. It also publishes articles on beer industry events and beer-related editorials. Beer Advocate, the second largest beer review hub, commands 38% of blog and community site results for beer-related searches.
While almost all content on these sites is user generated, brands should use them to monitor conversations about their brand. Furthermore, they can be places for brands to promote events.
