With the release of our fifth annual 2013 Digital IQ Index: Fashion report, we launched an easy-to-search database of more than 1,000 graphs. Our rankings are also available in a separate database for easy scanning and reference. Brands are color-coded to separate Genius, Gifted, Average, and Feeble, and can be viewed alphabetically, in descending and ascending order. Rankings can be viewed by industry (Auto, Beauty, Beer, Department Stores, Fashion, Hair Care & Color, Hotels, Luxury Hotels, Personal Care, Specialty Retail, Spirits, Watches & Jewelry) and year.
Graphs and Flashes of Genius (examples of exceptionally creative digital campaigns featured in our reports) are searchable by Vertical (Auto, Beauty, Cross Sector, Drinks, Fashion, Personal Care, Retail, Travel, Watches & Jewelry), Dimension (Digital IQ, Digital Marketing, Social Media, Site, Mobile), Region (APAC, Europe, Global, Middle East, North America, South America), Platforms (Android, Baidu, Facebook, Google+, Instagram, Naver, Pinterest, Sina Weibo, Tudou, Twitter, Vine, Vkontakt, YouTube, Youku, iOS) and Year.
The new offering to our members enables quick searches for material to add to presentations and reports. It is ideal for cross-sector comparisons. For example, to look at the the performance of Beauty brands on Instagram versus that of Personal Care brands this year, we selected the Beauty and Personal Care Verticals, the Platform Instagram, and 2013. Results were ten graphs illustrating the activity of Personal Care and Beauty brands on various platforms. We found that 79% of Beauty and 15% of Personal Care brands are active on Instagram.
