Next Thursday, April 4th, we will co-host with Salesforce Marketing Cloud our second clinic of the year on the topic of Social Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Specifically, we will look at how prestige brands can most effectively capture consumer data and then use that information to build ongoing relationships–all through social media. Our speakers will include academics, industry experts, innovative app creators, and members of L2’s and Salesforce Marketing Cloud’s leadership and research teams. In place of a single brand case study, we will have NYU Stern School of Business professor E. Craig Stacey, who is also Research Director of Stern’s Center for Measurable Marketing. Stacey will highlight several brands’ CRM strategies, identifying best practices and avoidable pitfalls. In addition, we will also hear from intellectual property litigator Steven Roosa, currently a fellow at Princeton’s Center for Information Technology Policy, who will explain the legal boundaries brands must respect through the Social CRM processes.
