Who are the winning and losing fashion brands on Amazon?
Which brand had the best showing during Amazon Prime Day?
In which categories are Amazon’s private label brands gaining the most traction?
These questions can now be answered thanks to L2’s new interactive data tool, Amazon Performance Rank, which helps brands gauge their quarterly performance relative to competitors within specific Amazon categories.
Starting with a product’s rank on Amazon’s US Best Sellers list, the tool factors in how many bestseller products the brand had over a specified time period. Available to all L2 members, it will be refreshed quarterly with new longitudinal data. (For more insight into the data behind the tool, see this post).
In addition, related reports will highlight category-specific insights from the tool and case studies about winning brands. Reports covering Q3 trends are currently available for Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry as well as Beauty & Personal Care, and will cover more categories in the upcoming months.
