It’s that time of year again. L2 is preparing for the annual Forum, a single-day TED-style event featuring thought leaders and innovators in tech, branding, design, art and science.
This year, Professor Owen Mundy will speak about the privacy implications of online cat photos. Author JC Herz (Joystick Nation, Learning to Breathe Fire: The Rise of CrossFit and the Primal Future of Fitness) will speak about the origins and influence of the CrossFit movement. Food designer Emilie Baltz will talk about how the sensory experience can transform the lives of creators and consumers. And, L2 Chairman Scott Galloway will discuss the birthing and rejuvenating of brands with Steinway CEO Michael Sweeney and Michael Bock, CEO of brand to watch Shinola.
For entertainment, last year’s event featured experimental Korean violinist Amadeus Leopold, visual artist and it-girl Shantell Martin and beatbox cellist Kevin Olusola. This year’s performers will not disappoint.
The members-only event will be hosted at The Morgan Library in New York on November 10. Contact us to register if you are a member and have not done so, and revisit the blog for features on Forum speakers.
