This year’s event, curated by MicroStrategy’s Chief Evangelist and Social iCommerce SVP Karl-Heinz Land, casts a wide net to tackle the timely issue of ‘Building Enduring Social Media Business to Better Connect with Consumers.’ Through keynotes, interactive panels and intimate breakaway discussions, top international speakers from industry and academia like Altimeter Group’s Brian Solis, DELL’s Michael Buck,  SYZYGY’s Marco Seiler, McCann Worldgroup’s Andreas Trautmann, and L2’s Galloway will engage SMICS attendees on topics ranging from the rise of mobile and consumer-effective social networking to trends in media consumption, disruptive technology, social TV, user data legality, and much more.


Audiences will also glean best practices from a variety of in-depth social media case studies, which this year will focus on soccer powerhouse FC Barcelona, telecommunications giant Vodafone, among others. And, as always, the summit’s agenda will include presentations and demos of the newest MicroStrategy technologies from those company experts (including CEO Michael Saylor) directly involved in their conception and execution.
