L2 is looking for a project manager to help scale the Beauty Sector team’s quarterly research product by synchronizing client deliverable and research-related work streams. Project manager will be responsible for quarterly resource planning, as well as day-to-day organization and prioritization of research analyst workloads. Extensive cross-team efforts will be required to manage necessary data streams, ensuring the quality and timeliness of data inputs.


  • Focus on the daily operations of L2’s largest sector team
  • Consolidate work streams between client strategy and research deliverables, streamlining work so that it can be used across projects and instituting group-wide deadlines for common data needs
  • Manage working schedules and project timelines for research team against parallel work streams, as well as ad hoc requests
  • Nimbly re-prioritize and organize the workload of each research team member, reallocating resources as necessary
  • Tracks progress of team against goals in project management system (e.g., JIRA)
  • Ensure project data quality and accuracy is to L2’s standards—will require extensive collaboration with L2’s Technology and Data Collection teams
  • Monitor health metrics related to all client project and research related data inputs and resolve issues as necessary
  • Develop system to organize and maintain database “hygiene” for new and existing projects
  • Execute data backfills for new project kickoffs
  • Interface with L2’s research operations team to manage research-related deadlines and report on research progress
  • Work with design team to manage last-mile of report production
  • Consistently record feedback about processes involving Data Collection, Technology, and Research Operations teams to improve cross-team dependencies
  • Stay in constant communications with client strategy and research team members to understand existing and upcoming data and analysis needs, as well as project delays

Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent time management, project management, and communication skills
  • 1-2 Years of Project or Product Management Experience (Required) or Similar Skillset
