The 2015 Digital IQ Index: Luxury Hotels assesses the digital performance of 50 Luxury Hotel brands operating globally. While Index brands have continued to invest incrementally in select areas, online travel agencies and other powerful new entrants have begun to expand their downstream services (via acquisition). Meanwhile, Index brands have been slow to respond, and with mobile device use throughout the travel process growing rapidly, brands that do not arm themselves with the right digital tools and strategies risk becoming commoditized. This study examines enterprise investments, brand visibility across numerous platforms, and digital performance across key metrics.
