High margins and low ship-to-weight ratios have made prestige Beauty an attractive e-commerce category. While prestige Beauty brands’ direct-to-consumer sales have become important, their sites are no match for the traffic driven by their prestige retail partners. Nordstrom, Macy’s and Sephora are distinguished by having the widest Index Beauty brand selections.
