Interracial vs. Gay Marriage: Two Years vs. Two Decades.

In an interview with Ogilvy.do at Cannes Lions this week, L2 founder and chairman Scott Galloway said that despite the existence of cyber-bullying the Internet does more good than harm. One of the benefits of living in a digital age is that people are more open to changing their minds on social issues, as witnessed in today’s long-overdue Supreme Court ruling. The American public’s view of gay marriage changed dramatically over the course of two years: 28 states legalized it between 2013 and 2015. Interracial marriage, however, took two decades for the American public to accept.
